Description

Walnut Woods State Park is named for the 260 acres of woodland that make up the park. The uncommon black walnut trees are abundant at this park and more than 90 species of birds have been sighted here.

This beautiful and unique park provides several shaded picnic areas with fireplaces, two and a half miles of cross country skiing trails, several river activities and a cool, shaded campground.

The cross country skiing trail can also be used for hiking.

Directions
